Yes, so many times flash washes out, or puts un-needed shadows in not good places. Even with bounce flash and planning...I think candids can be hit and miss. Thanks again.

That's what I like so much about an external bounce flash...I even rigged up a manually set one for my little Oly 3000z, on a bracket...I so much dislike the built in flashes (unless an emergency...I've often used a matchbook interior, or some other small white surface to attempt to bounce the flash with mixed results).
