Thank you for the comment. It is only after posting that I realised that I had indeed started from a very challenging lighting situation. I should have try to access the plant from the other side. However actually there was not sun at all when I took the picture so I think any angle would have been bad. I still have a lot to learn...
(But at least the challenge give an opportunity to try and to receive comments. Thank you to give comments also for the less succesfull photos !)

Hi Azure Feast,
You've tackled a very challenging lighting situation here. Sure the rusty colours can be seen, but they are somewhat hidden by being largely shaded or underexposed. I realise that the bright sky means no colour there, but I'd say it doesn't help the overall composition. I think is a subject where lighting from the side or behind you would have provided a more pleasing image with greater contrast, and if some processing was needed to desaturate the sky, then so be it.
Cheers, John

Hi Azure Feast,
I've included a comment in your caption so people will know your pic won't look very good unless they choose the original size as the large size (800 wide) created by PBase from larger originals always has quite severe compression. You can leave it as it is or upload a replacement version in this same spot that is only 800 pix wide.
