Yup, that looks better - you got rid of that slightly "milky filter", by utilizing the whole range of lightness-values available in an 8-bit (some refer to it as 24-bit) image. Clearer and crisper looking, don't you agree? Don't worry, that kind of alteration is definitely within the what is allowed! --Olaf

Very nice example of something I had a go at in the opposites challenge, Historical Reflection. This is much better than my attempt. Maybe a little curves adjustment to get some deeper shadows would make it even better? --Olaf

Well thanks for that Victor. It was an obvious shot to take but it is one of my faves of the trip to Bahrain earlier this year.
