Both images are very nice, but I prefer this one. I like the slightly softer feel, and the more uncluttered composition. I do like the colors on the other, but that much saturation might not work here. Maybe just a bit more saturation here wouldn't hurt.

Hi Matt,
I see you're trying my trick of dividing votes early in the piece. From a statistical viewpoint, well, the odds are against that being a smart move, but it doesn't always jave to end in tears. ;o) Posting a couple of variations on a theme is a great idea to give others a feel for the subtle differences you can make in your processing choices. I'm not sure which one I like better. In fact, as I can get bored easily, I like the variety of having both. I posted a link in the main thread about using the History Brush for colouring and it suggested fading the coloured subject a bit, which you have deomstrated very well here. Nicely framed too. Good job.
