I had to make a client visit this afternoon in a village on the egde of the Vale of Belvoir. It was one of those days where the sky was so very clear but with a fair amount of well defind cloud moving around, the kind of days I love so much. I went out armed with cameras and all the gear as I knew I would have an hour after my visit to drive up the pastures towards Belvoir Castle. This is a view of the Vale looking north towards Bottesford and the A52 from the roadside that runs beneath the castle grounds. In the very far distance are most of the power stations along the Trent Valley and on a clear day, like today, the towers of Lincoln Cathedral are visible on the horizon too.
