Samson & Goliath

Belfast

Like Stonemonkey's shot Titanic Past, this too is a shot of the giant cranes that dominate the Belfast skyline.

love the sky. I also like how the only real color in the shot is the yellow, it makes it interesting. -- Tabs

Ed. I intended just to pick up the crane colour using the magic wand and was surprised when the railings got picked as well. I liked the result so left it as it was.

The sympathetic coloring between the cranes and the railing is interesting. -Ed Hahn

It is a road Victor, bit difficult to change the shot perspective as this is a busy road junction and the best positions would probably mean dodging traffic LOL.

I'll comment on Teapot's behalf as I know the area well.

I really like the clouds in this picture, but the equipment (or is that a road on the right?) doesn't do anything for me. I think another perspective would have been better, but I can't recommend anything, because I really don't know the arrangement of things. -- Victor

This is funny, I looked at almost the same shot angle, I like the way the first crane acts like a fram for the second. Martyn
