Mark di Suvero’s signature steel girder sculpture, “Ave,” sits outside the Dallas Museum of Art on Ross Avenue Plaza. The bright red 12,000 pound sculpture made appearances in New York and Paris before being acquired by the Dallas Museum of Art.
It underwent restoration in 2019 - this bright red color is the original red hue given to it by the artist.
