Our kitchen is quite large. However, with the old refrigerator now pulled out, there are no room to move around at that part of the kitchen. The dining room doorway is blocked. The aisle at the far end of the oven is impassible. Plus, it's VERY difficult to use the oven or get into the refrigerator. The doors to neither frig or ovens will open completely. You also have to be a contortionist to try to use either one. Frankly, I don't enjoy getting goosed by the pull on the oven door every time I just get a drink of water from the refrigerator, which doesn't even require opening the refrigerator door.

I never before considered just how big - and bulky - our refrigerator really is. When it was peaceful tucked away in its own cabinet cove, there was absolutely no problem. Now, there's a problem. Something as "big as a refrigerator" really does make its size known when it's sitting out in the middle of nowhere. I sure hope that this isn't where our "Almond GE" is going to stay until we can get a new refrigerator. None of the frigs, that we're considering as a replacement, will be available for delivery until the end of September at the earliest!!! That's a long time from now.

This "Kitchen Makeover" stuff isn't fun...
