The Lutheran church was built between 1907 and 1908 and constructed
in the Norwegian architectural style and by using
Spruce wood from the nearby Harz mountains.
The building with its three towers and the unusual shape of the roof construction,
reminiscent of an inverted Viking ship attracts countless visits every year.
