We stayed in Burbank last night so that it would be a short drive to Warner Brothers Studios. Ginny had booked us on the first Classics Tour of the day. The weather was beautiful. We spent about an hour touring around in a big cart. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the various sets we saw and the classic stars that made movies at Warner Brothers. At the end of the tour we were dropped off at a sound stage that had been converted into a visitor attraction. Its theme was around the shows Friends and Big Bang Theory. They had the actual sets that these shows were filmed at. I will tell you that I never watched a single Friends episode. I will also tell you that I watched every single Big Bang Theory episode. After finishing up at the sound stage (and gift shop, of course) we were transported to another exhibit that featured the Batman, Harry Potter and other movies of that ilk. There were lots of props on display, especially many Batman vehicles. As we went for the exit (and another gift shop), there was a display that included the costumes of Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall from Casablanca. That was cool. We spent about three hours touring and enjoyed every minute of it.
Today's photo was taken on the set of Big Bang Theory. I am in Sheldon's "spot." This is certainly going to be one of the highlights of this road trip.
