It was a great time today with our son Richard and his family. After a monstrous breakfast we headed off to the Los Angeles Zoo. As you might imagine, the kids have a short attention span for each animal. We did find the snakes and giant lizards which they were excited about. They also found out what giant tortoise poop looks like. About noon we headed out for lunch at the Carousel restaurant in Glendale, then it was back to Richard's house. It was fun. Life is good.
