When it's -33 Celsius out there, snowing, it's no time to be outside. So, you light-up a few logs in the fireplace while you makes delicious pies. The strawberries were fresh strawberries collected last summer and frozen while the apples were fresh apples of the Cartland variety. The sound of crackling fire in the fireplace, the smell of pies cooking, cats meowing for attention all makes for a nice afternoon, while the car is at the garage getting repaired at an exorbitant price ... but all in all, I'd rather be in Fort-Lauderdale (Florida).
