The Flyover

Cormorants are medium-to-large sized birds with a wingspan up to 39 inches, so it's pretty impressive when one flies low overhead. And ya gotta love their emerald colored eyes.

ace shot as such a low pass means fast movement....love those Irish eyes and the splayed primaries..

I presume this one was not flying low but when flying low it would be exciting and possibly disconcerting particularly if you see those eyes at close range. "V"
