The Kiss is a work created in 1909 by the Austrian painter Gustav Klimt. This oil painting on canvas is covered with gold leaf and is kept in the palace of the Belvedere in Vienna. It is part of the Klimt Golden Cycle and is certainly the best known work of the Austrian painter.
