Ces deux frères vivaient antérieurement à l’arrivée des Moines d’Irlande et de Grande-Bretagne. Ils vivaient à Nantes, alors sous occupation romaine, vers l’an 300. Accusés d ‘être chrétiens, à une époque où cela était considéré comme un crime, le préfet de la Rome Impériale les fît arrêter et leur demanda de sacrifier aux dieux de Rome. Ils refusèrent d’abjurer leur foi. Ils furent soumis à la torture du chevalet puis transpercés par une lance et décapités.

These two brothers lived before the arrival of the Monks of Ireland and Great Britain. They lived in Nantes, then under Roman occupation, around the year 300. Accused of being Christians, at a time when this was considered a crime, the prefect of Imperial Rome had them arrested and asked them to sacrifice to the gods of Rome. They refused to renounce their faith. They were subjected to the torture of the easel and then pierced by a spear and beheaded.
