Tunvez vint elle aussi d'Irlande pour évangéliser l'Armorique avec ses frères Nonna et Tudy. Eux aussi embarquèrent à bord d'un bateau de granit. Le navire s'échoua près de la pointe de Penmarch. Une fois débarqués, chacun prit un gros galet qu'il lança de toutes ses forces : celui de Tunvez atterrit à Kerity à quelques kilomètres de là. Un port y fut bâti que Sainte Tunvez est censée protéger.



Tunvez also came from Ireland to evangelize Armorica with his brothers Nonna and Tudy. They too embarked on a granite boat. The ship ran aground near Penmarch Point. Once disembarked, each took a large pebble which he threw with all his strength: that of Tunvez landed at Kerity a few kilometres away. A port was built there that Saint Tunvez is supposed to protect.
