The virus is continuing to spread; with the USA now having 1/3 of all confirmed cases in the world. The United States only has 4.25% of the total world population. This imbalance is stark & makes one wonder "why?"

The lilacs are on the property line with our next door neighbor. Although lilacs are my favorite flowers, I think this is the first time I've ever photographed these. The neighbors planted them as a privacy screen.

"Lilac Season" should be a time of joy and hope; not sadness and uncertainty.
Hopefully, that will once again be true someday in the future...
