In the basement of the Yusupov Palace, the murder the notorious holy-man Rasputin is recreated.
On December 30, 1916, Grigori Rasputin was poisoned and then shot by Prince Felix Yurupov in this room. However, Rasputin managed to escape from the palace and later died on the street.
