We went to see our beloved Spurs tonight at Wem-ber-lee. This shot was taken before the game when we happily believed that City’s bubble had burst as they’d lost three times in a fortnight. Ah well, that’s been well and truly smashed now!
Despite the worst kick off time in the history of the Premier League, we had an evening out only marred by the score. We met a fabulous lady who had been going to games since 1957, when she was 7 years old. She’s still a season ticket holder and travels to games all the way from Thame on her own. That’s dedication for you. She was amazing.
David’s smile is wonderful isn’t it? (And it was shot before we met our new friend!)
Sadly for us, we were up in “the Gods” and directly above the City fans who were smug to say the least. Ah well, let them have their moment of glory, ours is yet to come.
