Trident maple

We took a quick trip out to the National Arboretum during Thanksgiving week to see if there were any fall colors there since we haven’t had much in our neighborhood. We didn’t find a whole lot, but it was pleasant walking around the near empty grounds on a crisp autumn afternoon.

One last bonsai, although a few pictures still to go, of a trident maple, in training since 1975.

I so need to see this in real life. I am assuming and hoping this is a permanent exhibit? As usual, first rate image of this beautiful tree. ~BV~
