We went back to the National Arboretum the other day to try to find some bonsai with fall color since there isn’t a whole lot of that in our neighborhood this year. Unfortunately, only three bonsai still had leaves that had turned; most of the rest had been put inside for the winter. This is a Japanese Maple, in training since 1939.
