The only bit of damage we had as a result of hurricane Harvey was a leak in the master closet. The leak was due to overflowing gutters. Ginny wastes no time getting things repaired and our favorite sheet rock guy Noe showed up this morning and had the patches in place and the texturing done by 4pm.

I hadn't been out taking pictures for quite a while. Bay Area Park is my place to go when I just have to do some snapping. Although there was plenty of evidence of high water, there was no obvious damage. When hurricane Ike came through, the boardwalk was destroyed, but this time there was little wind and just an unbelievable amount of water. The only critters I saw were a heron, a vulture and the usual complement of ducks. This time there were quite a few baby ducks in the crowd. Today's photo is of a bunch of kids feeding the ducks. Feeding the ducks is fun. The children were really into the experience. They were not successful in getting a duck to eat from their hands, however.
