Project Day 77 - Exile Day 27 - I think Ginny is starting to feel like she is binge watching painters in action. It was all day painters going about their business. They set up a new drying rack in the living room which was assembled by screwing supports to the wall. There is over spray everywhere. Things have been pretty well masked everything, I think; however, they didn't mask the unfinished floor in the kitchen and there is a big accumulation of paint in one corner where they spent several days spraying doors and shelves. Maybe tomorrow they will get going on the cabinets in the three bathrooms.
Today's photo is looking down into the living room. On the left you can see the supports that have been screwed to the wall. I guess they are the experts who can fix the holes when it is all over. In top center you can see our Steinway grand piano which has been covered with layers of plastic. I sure hope that survives unscathed.
As for me, I finished going through another box of photos and slides. Most of what I went through were slides of my parents' travels in Europe and elsewhere. They are of no interest to me. I went through them all, however, in order to glean out any pictures of family. There were some, but not very good ones. They were scanned for posterity's sake. Tomorrow I have to go back to the house and see if I can find one more box of photos amid the stuff stored in our bedroom. Exile has been very good for this scanning project. There is ample room to spread the work out on and there is a refrigerator with beer in it. Life is good.
