Cattle for the next kilometre, if this sign is to be believed. In reality I didn't see any cows. I saw sheep. No cows. Mind you, unfortunately I didn't have a great deal of time to explore the road up beyond the hotel (which is obviously what you're seeing in the background) as extensively as I would have liked to either.

Given the fact that there was a sheep farm next to us and I had no idea of that until a wall of wool was heading directly for me, it's entirely possible that there was a herd of Friesians just around the bend after I stopped to head back for breakfast.
