Project Day 52 - Exile Day 2 - It was a busy day on the job site. More demolition and the start of the plumbing. We need the plumbers for not only the water but also the new gas line for our cook top. They found several gas leaks (valves) so they are going to be back at it. They also rerouted the air conditioner drains. The kitchen demolition is done, also the powder room and most of the upstairs bathroom and shower. Still much more to get done. The current plan is to finish the plumbing project in time for a city inspection on Monday.
As for me, I went to the Colonneh Lodge Trade-O-Ree at the scout office downtown. It was fun, but not nearly as big as Dallas. I saw many friends and had a good time. The Scout Office has been there for a long time, but I had never been there. Outside there is a wall where the Eagle Scouts of Sam Houston Area Council are honored. Sure enough, my three boys were on the wall, Richard (1996), Robert (1998) and David (2001). Scouting was good for us.
