Project Day 53 - Exile Day 3 - The major demolition is now complete. It was amazing what actually happened. Removing existing tile is a tough job. It is really heavy and they had to haul chunks in buckets. Lots of buckets. Sometimes slabs would come off the walls and they could be carried out, but they were heavy. The contractor had the pictured trailer to collect the debris.This was new to me. It was interesting to see how they used boards and doors to build up the sides. I wonder what the thing weighed when it was fully loaded.
