It all started with the X-300 (for me) in August 1987. Still have the camera, it never failed to operate. The X-300 was the cheapest X, but still offered various settings to play with. Unlike the X-700, the X-300 (and X-500) shows the selected shutter speed in the viewfinder when you photograph manually.
