Day 44-Again, Ginny spent the day going through stuff. It was mostly her stuff and kitchen stuff. There is no percentage in offering to help. There is also no percentage in either suggesting or commenting. That is hard to do, but my skills in that regard have improved immensely over the past four months. It is the old, "Stand back and nobody will get hurt."
So for me, it was slide scanning again. I did finish going through all 20 or so slide trays. Some were full, others were not. Most of them were travel slides. My objective was to glean through them all and find the ones with family and friends and maybe a few others that were reminders to me of the fun we had traveling.
One of our great family adventures was a trip to London, Moscow and Leningrad during the Christmas holidays in 1970. We celebrated New Years in Leningrad. Boy those Russians can drink a lot! The weather was cold and snowy. Poor lighting conditions for the most part. Lots of very blah slides. This one, however, came out pretty cool. All white snow except for my mom and sister. Nice contrast. I like it a lot.
