Sahraa the mouse catcher??

Taken at the same time as another picture I posted recently, but I’m including this one as well since Sahraa looks so cute with the light on her collar. But also to relate a story from yesterday, when I found a dead mouse on the dining room carpet, right where I put my feet when I work on my laptop downstairs in the evenings. We have recently had a problem with mice, but they have never run around the dining room, and surely not on the carpet, and I think it’s pretty unlikely that the mouse would have suddenly keeled over on the rug. We think it’s possible that Sahraa caught it, and left it as a present for me where she knew I’d see (or step on) it. The funny thing is that at first I thought she had had an accident on the carpet (which she simply doesn’t do in the house), until I looked closely and saw the dead mouse. I worked upstairs for the rest of the day.

Great story about the mouse catcher! LOL! Foxes are great mousers. Terriers were bred to catch rodents. Those carpets look like genuine oriental rugs---very nice! Voted.

Laughed out loud when I read your story. Isn't Sahraa the smartest dog! She is pretty cute with that light on. V
