On the day before we left Riyadh for good, we were provided with a driver to take us wherever we wanted to go. One place was the National Museum of Saudi Arabia for a final visit.
This is another section (previously taken images above) of a beautiful ceramic bridge depicting the Hijra, or migration, of the Prophet Muhammad from Mecca to Medina in 622. I had read somewhere that the color of the images themselves on the bridge changes from dark to light, representing the transition from an age of darkness to one of enlightenment.
