Leafcutter bee (Megachilid)

Reveler Conservation Area

Found on the stem of a wild parsnip plant. These bees carry their pollen on the underside of their abdomen, unlike honey bees or most other bees,which carry pollen on their legs. You can see grains of pollen stuck to this one at various spots.
