If you are familiar with "The Music Man" you will remember a song entitled "The Wells Fargo Wagon." It is about the anticipation people have about things that it may be delivering to them. I feel the same way about the UPS truck. Today we were rewarded with a shipment from B&H Photo and Video, my favorite online shop. It was really Ginny's big day. She got a new G16 to replace the G15 which got its lens clobbered and a polarizing filter for her T5i. When we were out west, we didn't realize how much a polarizing filter can help in certain occasions. Now we both have one. We are anxious for another trip out west this fall.
iPhone photography has made me see the benefit of using a small, light camera (take it anywhere!). Aside from hikes, I rarely use the D80, and even on hikes it's a pain to use. So...I'm thinking of replacing my D80 with somthing like Canon G15, G16, or G7x. Losing the extremes of the 18-200mm zoom would hurt but everything is a compromise.
