Out for a walk

I was intrigued by the sight of these Indian women wading though the surf. The last I saw, they were close to the resort, quite a distance from where this was taken.

Cultural kaleidoscope at Mesaieed, posted earlier.

I see them sometimes on the Texas coast wearing these long garments that are dictated by their culture---so inappropriate for the setting. It amazes me how the women put up with the restrictions on every facet of their lives! I would not make a good diplomat! Voted.

You captured a very enjoyable moment. These two ladies convey serenity and relax. Then at least they wear something so nicely colourful!

interesting to wear saris and not swimsuits...perhaps all their culture's sense of decency permits...still, they must have enjoyed a paddle in the sea..
