une ria (mot galicien-portugais) est une baie formée par la partie inférieure de la vallée d'un fleuve côtier envahie, en partie ou en totalité, par la mer.

A ria ( Galician-Portuguese word) is a bay formed by the bottom of the valley of a coastal river invaded, partially or completely, by the sea.
