Less than 90 minutes after I took this image, we were approaching
the wheel in a rented canal boat similar to the one you see here.
The wheel's axle is just above the blue and white sign. It takes
about three minutes for the upper and lower gondolas to exchange
positions. Then we were on our way to Edinburgh.
