Local fashion at the 'souq' (2)

Some of the local fashion for sale at the Abu Dhabi Central Market. I’m not sure if it was meant for locals or tourists, but since there were very few Emiratis in sight when we were there, I have to assume the latter. This mannequin is wearing a face mask of the kind seen in Oman, although I thought the lower part was meant to cover the mouth, not the nose. Conny mentioned seeing metal coverings like this in London, but maybe it varies by country because this is what I'm used to seeing: http://www.pbase.com/helenpb/image/158966418

I remember seeing Arabic woman wearing these metal structures over their niqab when in Harrods in London: while the niqab covered most of the face - including the mouth - the metal peace indeed covered the nose. Not quite the outfit I'd buy as a tourist though.. :-)
