We drove to Khor Rouri, which hosts the Sumhuram Archeological Site, where a thriving center of the frankincense trade was located 2,000 years ago. The ruins were interesting, but the museum was closed (“no electricity” said the guards). The estuary (khor), however, was beautiful; this is where we saw the bathing camels in the previous picture.
