Holidays that we know in the West are not and in some cases can not be celebrated here. Still, one occasionally finds things here that – while not celebrating any holiday – do remind one of more festive times. This will be a small gallery of scenes I’ve come across that in one way or another do just that for me, for a variety of occasions. I’ll be including some pictures from last year that I already posted because these kinds of things are hard to come by, and I thought some of them were quite fascinating.
