Church "On the Rock" (Na Skalce) which means "on a small rock" in Polish - this ancient pilgrimage site was the center of the Cult of the Bishop of Kraków St. Stanislaus (Stanislaw), an 11th-century bishop and martyr.r.

Today’s church "Na Skałce" is most probably the third to stand on the spot. The current appearance of the church results from work completed in 1740-1762.
