Lake Manitoba in winter, from the air

My next destination was Lake Manitoba, about an hour northwest of Winnipeg. I drove to the spot marked by the arrow, where
there's a beach (Ste Ambroise Beach) and park sanctuary, and took a swim. Fortunately the water was no longer a solid at that point.

Lake Manitoba and its northern neighbor Lake Winnipegosis look similar in size and shape to Lake Winnipeg - they're all remnants of the same
glacial lake - but they are narrower and are crossed by east-west roads in several spots, so they're not nearly as much of a transcontinental barrier.
Next trip I want to drive across the narrows at the upper end of Lake Manitoba (at the top of the wide expanse of ice in this picture).
