We went back to the Grand Mosque one evening after photographing the opera house, but it was a bit frustrating trying to get a night shot of it. It was quite late, like around 11 p.m., and I wasn’t sure if we could even be on the grounds at that hour, plus I didn’t want to get locked in. I got a couple of shots that I wasn’t too happy with, but on the way back to the hotel we stopped on the freeway, and I got this.
