Rose hooktip caterpillar (Oreta rosea), #6255

Found on a viburnum alongside a west end trail. These funny granular little caterpillars turn into a very attractive moth patterned in shades of yellow and pale pink.

Interesting texture, very well displayed. Hard to imagine this caterpillar will turn into an attractive moth, but I believe you! V.
