This was shot from our hotel balcony the night we arrived, with the camera balanced precariously on a narrow railing. Not the greatest night shot, but I was fascinated by the spaceship-looking thing, which we subsequently decided was a hotel on top of a terraced hill. The view is of the city of Abha, which is perched on the edge of a cliff.
All the cities we visited had wonderful night illuminations of buildings, trees, street art, just about everything. Seems like Asir lives up to its reputation of “Living in Colors,” as I was told by one of the tour participants who is quite familiar with the province.
