This final picture of the gallery is sort of a good representation of how international our lives have been: artwork from Australia (from left: Sydney Harbour, Victoria/Ned Kelly, Perth/America's Cup, New South Wales homestead, Far North Queensland), carpet from Iran, chairs from the US and table from Saudi Arabia made by Indian craftsmen.

It arrived at our house the other day (weighing 100 kilograms, or over 200 pounds!), and Tim and our cleaning person put it together this morning. The craftsmen did a great job on the table, and we’re very pleased with it, and I think it was a creative and practical way to preserve a bit of Saudi heritage.
