Kuwaiti Souk, local taste

I thought this was a pretty interesting example of the furnishings sold here. I actually like the colorful fabric, although it would take a pretty specific room to accommodate it.

That print is bright and colorful. I think it would look good in a cottage or hunting lodge.

I wonder if they use so many bright colors do to having all that plain colored sand around. What are the things under the couch used for? Are they something to kneel on or maybe little steps? V

This is a great peek into the types of furnishings that might perhaps be in some of those palatial homes. I love the vivid colour and pattern, but think it might become a bit too busy after some time! V

Oh, love the colorful couch. The colors are really great in your shot. Wonder what room this would fit in? V

Very interesting image. It reminds me of a Navajo rug. The divider is unique. Great work. V.

I do like it too. The armrest in the middle is interesting.

I like the colourful patterns and blue wood frame, Helen. I suppose the bright colours make up for being surrounded by the shades of sand tones. BV
