Golden tussocks of grass clump together at the end of a spit of land culminating in a reflection of the snow dusted Blackmount punctuated by island rocks. The colour and texture struck me as reminiscent of the golden fleece suspended in the tree fought over by Jason and the Argonauts. The blue sky and its reflected light bathing the snow capped peaks were a perfect partnership of opposing hues on this very very fine winter morning on Rannoch moor.
