House from Makkah

This display was of a traditional house in the holy city of Makkah (Mecca). The style is similar to the old houses in Balad, Jeddah, yet somehow unique. I found it interesting that it was made of stone, but since Makkah is surrounded by mountain ranges, I guess that makes sense.
