Cathedrals from the Mersey Ferry

Liverpool, England

A view of the Anglican and Roman Catholic Cathedrals from the ferry. Many of my recently uploaded pictures have been taken from the top of the tower of the Anglican cathedral, the building on the right.

Very effective with this focal length. Nice with this warm lighting. "V"

quite imposing even in its truncated form; nicely smutty sandstone...the RC one looks a bit dwarfed from this viewpoint, but I think it has quite a presence of its own when on a level playingfield

A great photo of the two Cathedrals. The Metropolitan Cathedral was completed before the Anglican Cathedral. the distance from the ferry to the Anglican Cathedral is about a mile. v
