Tranmere Oil Terminal

From the tower of Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral

The oil terminal was opened in 1960 and can receive ships of up to 65,000 tons. It is linked to the Stanlow oil refinery that featured on the previous picture in this gallery by a 15 mile long pipeline. In the distance are the Clwydian Hills of North East Wales.
