Commemorations have been held in Warsaw today, to mark 70 years since hundreds of lightly armed Jewish fighters rose up against a much larger force of German Nazi occupiers.
Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski, two uprising survivors and other officials from Poland, Israel and other countries attended the event at the Monument to the Ghetto Heroes.
